Andy was raised in South Carolina. He was an exceptional athlete in high school and received scholarships to play college soccer. He went on to graduate from college and Seminary. He owned and operated his own home remodeling business for several years, at which time he received a call from a church to work here in West Knoxville. Andy followed the call and spent the next 15 years serving in that church.
Andy’s experience as a contractor and minister lends itself nicely to working and serving people in real estate. As a contractor he knows the value of homes, he understands the homes potential, and understands what it takes to fix or update it. He has used that knowledge to successfully flip several houses on his own, and help many of his clients do the same, As an ordained minister Andy learned that a job is more than just a means to make money, but an opportunity to serve people. He helps people navigate through big decisions in their life. He learned to give a caring and personal touch in every transaction while maintaining the highest level of integrity, loyalty, and professionalism.
One of the reasons Andy chose to work for Honors Real Estate Services is because of his long-lasting friendship with the Glafenhein family. The Glafenheins were among some of the first people that embraced Andy and his wife when they moved to Knoxville in 2003. Aside from the fact that they feel like family it is no secrete they run a top notch company with a qualified team of people in place to take on whatever need arises in the field of real estate. This team approach combined with Andy’s past work experience provided the strength and confidence Andy needed to start his new career in real estate in 2018. Since then, Andy has climbed the ladder and is one of the leading real estate agents in East Tennessee. Andy has been married 30 years to his loving wife and has successfully raised 3 boys. He is a lover of God, an avid outdoorsman and loves to travel.
